Changes to Workplace Recycling
Workplace recycling rules are changing. From 6th April 2024, it will be law for recycling to be separated, ready for collection by your waste collection provider.
Cardiff Trade waste has already worked with 80% of our customers, to transform them to a new compliant service.
We’ve learnt all the lessons and are ready to help support you with making these changes. We know that these changes will be a challenge for some businesses, and our dedicated team is here to help you every step of the way.
All customers will need to ensure the following materials are put out for collection separately on collection day, using individual containers for each material.
- Food
- Paper and card (these can be mixed together)
- Glass
- Metal, plastic, and cartons (these can be mixed together)
As a collection service, we need to collect these materials separately and keep them separate. With a diverse range of collection vehicles, and container options, Cardiff Trade Waste is here to help you implement and manage these changes and can work with you to create solutions tailored to your business needs.
We can analyse your waste to inform you exactly what disposal services you need, and the frequency of how often you need collections. Our team are on hand to produce a bespoke business waste recommendation report and ongoing support to help you become confident in separating your waste.
