For those situations where you have produced more waste than normal, you have the option of disposing of your waste at our Commercial Recycling Centre at Bessemer Close.

Who can use the site?

Any business! Anyone can use these sites but we find it is best suited to small and medium enterprise businesses, landlords and the building/construction industry.

Legally, before you carry any waste in a vehicle (whether it’s to one of our centres or anywhere else) you need to make sure your business holds a Waste Carriers Licence. This can be organised through Natural Resources Wales, and often, if you are only carrying your own business waste, it can be free of charge and will last indefinitely. How does it work?

This is a Pay-As-You-Go site, using a card machine. You simply:

1. Arrive at the site, weigh your vehicle at the Weighbridge and declare what waste you are carrying.
2. Go to the relevant tip off point, as directed by staff and off-load your waste. (You should expect someone to inspect your load, just to make sure you have declared your waste correctly).
3. Proceed to weigh your vehicle again and sort out the paperwork.
4. Pay for your waste using a debit or credit card.
5. You are free to go!
